No. The score covers the information available on the label, the relationship between named ingredients and selected claims, and price transparency. It cannot establish finished-product efficacy or predict an individual result.
Name searches go directly to Open Facts and the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database; decoded barcode digits go to Open Facts. Records can be missing, historical or wrong, so the physical label always wins. You can correct every field before making a receipt.
We first read structured page data, then try a supported shop endpoint. If the shop does not provide usable data, a product name found in the URL is searched automatically; otherwise a friendly handoff offers name search, barcode scan or manual details while preserving the retailer reference. You confirm or edit every field before a receipt is made. No paid page-rendering service is used.
Never. Partner configuration is entirely separate from the scoring module. Sponsored and affiliate placements are visibly labelled.
No. Barcode frames are decoded inside a browser worker on your device. The app sends only the decoded barcode digits to the public product database.
